WHAT IS A-to-G?
A to G is a series of fifteen courses determined by UC/CSU to provide foundational knowledge and fundamental skills necessary to be successful in college and career. Students must receive a grade of “C” or better in each of these courses to demonstrate proficiency/ competency to access college level course work, post-secondary education and career attainment.

A-to-G GOALS
Reading at level by the third grade is the most important predictor of high school graduation and career success. We know early literacy starts well before third grade which is why we want to ensure that every child has the power of literacy and the opportunity for a lifetime of success.

- It is a moral, social, and economic civil rights imperative that we as a collective community ensure that future generations are prepared for success in college and career.
