• Mission Statement

The mission of the Community Engagement Department is to close the achievement gap by boldly interrupting inequity.  We do this by strengthening the capacities of schools and parents to work together as equal partners to ensure that all schools are culturally reflective of the families they serve, create a welcoming environment where all families can identify their partnership path, have comprehensive family partnership programs that increase two-way communication, support ongoing learning-at-home, develop parent leadership and establish partnerships with community stakeholders.
