• The West Contra Costa Unified School District, Expanded Learning Program collaborates with selected community-based organizations that have expertise in youth development and out of school time programming to operate its 32 Expanded Learning Programs. Funded by ASES, ASSETS, 21st Century Community Learning Center Grants and ELO-P (Expanded learning Opportunities Program). Each Expanded Learning Program offers academic support, enrichment activities, and supper five days per week throughout the school year. In 2022-2023, West Contra Costa Unified School District partnered with 6 youth-serving community-based organizations vetted and chosen by the Expanded Learning office to serve as lead agency partners to run programs: Bay Area Community Resources(BACR), Love.Learn.Success. (LLS), EDMO,  Envisioneers, YMCA of the East Bay, and Youth Code Now. Thanks to the work of all Site Coordinators, Group Leaders, Program Managers, and Lead Teachers, the program serves close to 4,707students, 29% of all youth at the 32 host schools (Pre-Covid).
