    District Transfer Office

    • The Transfer Office processes two types of transfers in the District: Intra-District Transfer, (in the District also called open enrollment), and Inter-District Permits (Leaving/Entering the District).
    • Teacher and student

      1. Intra-District Transfer, also called open transfer/enrollment

      The open/transfer enrollment is available for current WCCUSD residents that would like to transfer to a school within the West Contra Costa Unified School District. The Intra-District Transfer Enrollment Period for the 2024-2025 school year begins January 16 through February 29, 2024.

      2. Inter-district Permit (Leaving WCCUSD)

      The inter-district permit is available for WCCUSD residents that would like to transfer to another school outside of the West Contra Costa Unified School District. Applications for the Inter-District permit for the 2024-2025 school year will be available starting January 29, 2024.
