California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions at TK /Kindergarten through 12th grade and all students advancing to 7th grade before entry.
Family/Parent Guide for Immunizations
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES IMMUNIZATIONS & FLU SHOTS
Contra Costa Public Health Immunization Clinics provide immunizations to children and adults on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please come early as we stop accepting clients when the clinic is full.
Our busiest time of year is July through September.

Fridays, 1 pm-4:30 pm
West County Health Center

*Last patient must be registered by 4:15 pm
CONCORD
Wednesdays 8am-12pm* and
Thursdays, 8am-12pm* and 1pm - 4:30pm

**Por favor, llegue temprano pues no se aceptan más pacientes cuando la clínica se llena. La temporada mas ocupada en el año es entre julio y septiembre.

Community Resources for School Immunizations
*With all locations, please contact ahead of time to confirm availability.*
Walgreen’s Pharmacy
Provides flu shots and other immunizations, but may not have all serums available at all times. CCPH members are covered 100%. Most private insurances are accepted, and insurance plans may cover different percentages of costs, which will be determined at visit. Does not accept Kaiser.

FLU SHOT INFORMATION
Contra Costa County Health Services is offering free flu shots at its COVID-19 testing sites, including its locations in:
Richmond (near the Richmond Memorial Auditorium on Nevin Ave.)
North Richmond, 1547 2nd St. in Richmond
Pinole, Pinole Public Library, 2935 Pinole Valley Road
San Pablo, West County Health Center, 13601 San Pablo Ave
The county is also hosting free one-day flu shots clinics at two locations in Richmond:
October 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shields Reid Community Center, 1410 Kelsey St.
October 18 from noon to 4 p.m. at Tibetan Association of Northern California, 5200 Dalai Lama Ave. No appointment is necessary
