Complete the Superintendent Search Survey
The West Contra Costa Unified School District launched a community-wide Superintendent survey on Monday, Nov. 30, seeking information and feedback from parents, families, students, staff, and community members to help identify the characteristics and qualifications of the next District leader.
The Superintendent Search survey is available in English and Spanish and is be open until Thursday, Dec. 10.
This survey is essential for collecting the voices in the WCCUSD community, and all families, staff, students, and community stakeholders are strongly encouraged to provide their feedback.
Leadership Associates is assisting the District in its search for the 10th superintendent to lead the District. The Superintendent search process is expected to take several months. A new superintendent could be hired by the end of March and begin working in the District on July 1. The superintendent timeline is available here.

Current Superintendent Matthew Duffy announced on Thursday, Nov. 5, that he would not seek a contract extension in June. The District’s Board of Education hired Superintendent Duffy in 2016 after a search led by Leadership Associates.
