    WCCUSD is operating with reduced staff and managing a backlog of requests. As a result, processing times may take 6-10 weeks. We understand the importance of your transcripts and appreciate your patience during this time.

    Instructions for Former Student Records          (‼️ For Agency Requests Click Here)

    Student records are kept at the last school attended for five years after a student leaves the school. A student is considered to have exited when they have graduated or are no longer enrolled with WCCUSD.

    WCCUSD only retains records for students who attended schools within the district. For other schools in another district, charter, or private school, please place your request with them directly.

      

    👉🏽 Records from the Last 5 Years

    If you or your student attended a WCCUSD school within the past five years and did not transfer to another public school, you can request records from the last school attended.

    Steps to Request Records:

    1. Visit the main office of your or your student's last school.
    2. Bring a valid form of identification (ID Card, Driver’s License, Passport).
    3. Check the District School Directory for school contact details.
    4. A small fee may apply.

    👉🏽 Records from More Than Five Years Ago

    If you or your student attended WCCUSD more than five years ago and did not transfer to another public school, follow the steps below based on grade level attended.

    For Elementary School Records (Grades K-6):

    Records may be limited. Complete the Record Request Form (click to download) and email it to recordrequests@wccusd.net with the following details:

      • Student’s full name while attending (First, Middle, Last)
      • Date of birth
      • Last school attended, grade, and year of attendance
      • Valid form of identification (ID Card, Driver’s License, Passport)
      • Preferred method of receiving records (Mailing Address, Email Address)
      • Signed Authorization of Release of Records


    For Secondary School Records (Grades 7-12):

    Records may be limited. Request records from the last school attended by:

      1. Visiting the main office of the school.
      2. Bringing a valid form of identification (ID Card, Driver’s License, Passport).
      3. Checking the District School Directory for school contact details.
      4. A small fee may apply.


    ‼️ Requesting Records from a Closed School

    If your last school is now closed, complete the Record Request Form (click to download) and email it to recordrequests@wccusd.net with the following information:

      • Student’s full name while attending (First, Middle, Last)
      • Date of birth
      • Last school attended, grade, and year of attendance
      • Signed Authorization of Release of Records
      • Valid form of identification (ID Card, Driver’s License, Passport)
      • Preferred method of receiving records (Mailing Address, Email Address)

    Replacement Diploma

    The first step in getting a diploma replacement is to have the transcript pulled.  Once the transcript has been pulled then you can ask the school to order a diploma.
