We are posting a variety of community resources here from the county and city programs, state assistance, and other resources. 

Health Services/Social Services

*If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your health care provider. If you do not have a provider, call the Contra Costa County Health Service's Advice Nurse at 1-877-661-6230 option 1.

24-hour Behavioral Health Access Line 1-888-678-7277 for:

  • Questions about mental health services and supportive recovery resources for substance use disorders; 
    Assistance finding services;
  • Insurance questions and referrals to low-cost and sliding scale services if uninsured;
  • Be prepared to answer questions on your needs and provide your Medi-Cal or other insurance information;
  • Language interpretation services are available.
  • Call during business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) weekdays for quickest service.

  • 211 Database, A comprehensive, up-to-date, and free-of-charge database of local health and social services.

Boys & Girls Club of Contra Costa

The Boys & Girls Club of Contra Costa's Club sites may be closed but it is moving its programs online and providing families in need free school supply bags. The school supply bags are full of notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, crayons, and markers. To receive a bag email KFaulkner@bgccontracosta.org.
