Chevron Richmond recently held its 19th Annual Black History Awareness Month Celebration to honor local pioneers in STEM fields and award deserving high school students in the West Contra Costa Unified School District for academic excellence and achievement.
Congratulations to the 2018 Scholarship winners:
1st place: Jacqueline Ortiz, Middle College High School
2nd place: Kyra Abrams, Middle College High School
3rd place: Patrick Udenyi, Hercules High School
4th place: Sharon Jackson, De Anza High School
The Chevron Richmond Black Employee Network has awarded over 40 scholarships to deserving students in the District for nearly 20 years.
