Assessment in Science
The California Science Test (CAST) is an online assessment administered by CAASPP, and is based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The test is required for all students in grade 5 and grade 8, and once in high school.
- Spring 2018 - Field Test (no scores will be sent to students or schools)
- Spring 2019 - Operational Test
In spring 2018, all students in grades 5, 8, and 12 will take the CAST, and possibly one other high school grade in WCCUSD.
