Diverse 21st Century scholars and leaders with integrity & academic excellence

Dear Hercules High School Families & Community,

With enthusiasm and optimism, I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year.  The beginning of a new school year is a time of excitement and infinite possibilities. It is an opportunity for growth, learning, and establishing new connections within our school community and beyond.  Whether you are a returning student or joining us as a new student, you can look forward to a Hercules Titan Strong educational journey in a positive, diverse and invigorating environment that supports your academic, social, and emotional development.

This year, we will continue to strengthen the heart of the Hercules TitanWay Culture of Excellence

Academic Excellence: We remain dedicated to maintaining high academic standards and providing a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning. Our talented and passionate teachers will engage students in innovative teaching methods and help them reach their full potential.  In addition, our College & Career Counseling programs will continue to support and guide our students as they pursue colleges & universities, careers, and other post-secondary opportunities.

Social and Emotional Well-being: We understand the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive school climate where students feel safe, valued, and empowered. We will continue to prioritize the social and emotional well-being of our students through various programs and initiatives through our Wellness Center and other resources.

Parental Involvement: We value the partnership between the school and parents/guardians. We encourage your active participation in your child's education and invite you to engage with our school community through various events, parent-teacher conferences, School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Council, African-American Parent Advisory Council, and Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and volunteering opportunities.

Communication: Open lines of communication are essential for a successful school-home relationship. We will continue to maintain regular communication with parents and guardians through Parent Square and the school website to keep you informed about important school news, events, and student progress.

As we embark on this new school year together, I invite you to embrace the spirit of collaboration, respect, and perseverance.  Together, we can create an environment where every student can achieve success and become a responsible global citizen.

Once again, welcome to the new school year! Let us make it a memorable, successful one.  Have a great week and  remember to stay Titan Strong.

    Warm regards,

    Rocquel Colbert
