The Junior Achievement of Northern California is excited to announce their 3rd Annual Junior Achievement SHE Leads STEM Summit, a virtual event for students in celebration of International Women’s Day. The event will be 100 percent virtual starting March 8, 2021 through March 10, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
JA S.H.E. Leads Summit is a virtual, three-day event for students in grades 8-12 who identify as female, offering STEM career exploration by engaging in fun, virtual activities, and discussions with STEM career professionals.
Students will hear from speakers and panelists from diverse career and educational backgrounds who will discuss their career pathways and the decisions that lead them there. Then, students will choose from over 16 smaller workshops to engage in virtual activities and discussions with volunteers from Northern California companies, focusing on a wide array of topics that will prepare students for their future in today’s workforce.

- We understand that schedules are constantly changing, with that, students DO NOT need to attend the entire event. They can choose which workshops and mentoring sessions they participate in.

On Tuesday March 9, 2021, between 1:00pm-5:00pm, JA will be hosting FREE workshops dedicated to our educators. Topics will include: Tips & Tricks of Zoom, Managing Stress, and much more hosted by industry partners. Please register on our website!
Educators who register 20+ students will receive a STARBUCKS gift card. Educators who have students who register, attend, and complete a student survey will be entered in our drawing to win a fantastic gift basket.
