New Covid-19 Testing Information
Laboratory Services of America (LSA) will start administering weekly rapid COVID-19 tests to students and staff on Monday, September 13. The change to LSA will require everyone to complete a new ONE-TIME REGISTRATION PROCESS that can be done on a laptop, computer or mobile device.

We are excited to see everyone on Monday for the 100% Return to In-Person Instruction. To keep students, staff and families safe we updated the mask policy by requiring masks to be worn indoors and outdoors on all WCCUSD school campuses and facilities.

Return to 100 Percent In-Person Instruction Update: Covid-19 Vaccines for Staff & Testing frequency
We are updating our Covid-19 vaccination status for staff and increasing our testing frequency for unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated staff and for students based on updated state and county guidance.

Public Comment at WCCUSD Board Meetings will undergo the following changes: Public Comment will occur at the beginning of the meeting, last for one hour, attendees can comment on any item, time allotted per speaker increased to 2 minutes.

The West Contra Costa Unified School District, Contra Costa County Health Services, Contra Costa County Office of Education, Kaiser Permanente, and Lookout Health and Horizon Therapeutics are hosting a series of free Covid-19 vaccine clinics for students ages 12 and up as well as family and community members.

WCCUSD's Independent Redistricting Commission Hosted Its First Meeting June 2
The seven-member commission is tasked with reviewing the boundaries for the five trustee areas and possibly revising based on the 2020 federal census data available in October of this year. The trustee areas do not affect the current school location boundaries.
