ESCAPE Club to Alamere Falls- There were 30 Lovonya DeJean students and staff who took the trek to Alamere Falls.
This was the 16th year that the ESCAPE Club has been going to Alamere Falls.Alamere Falls is a special place. It's called a "tidefall", or a waterfall that falls right onto the beach. It's at the southern end of Point Reyes National Seashore.
and accessible only by hiking about 3.5 miles each way.The trail goes along the coast for a while, then cuts inland along shady paths, with running creeks, lily-covered ponds, and a couple nice lakes. It cuts through several micro-climates, and we get to see a diverse slice of the California coast.
