Dear Hanna Ranch Families and Friends, Welcome back for the new school year, 2021-2022. We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. We are so excited for a 100% in-person school year beginning August 16, 2021. The teachers, staff, and I are looking forward to an amazing, productive, and successful year with your children. We are aware there is much concern from community members regarding in-person learning during the Covid19 pandemic. Our goal is to assure you that the school is taking many mitigation steps to ensure a safe inperson return. Attached you will find a slide deck that shares the preventative measures taken by school sites. This is a truly collaborative effort between schools and families, and we need your support and assistance in this matter. We understand that the transition back to school during these trying times is a challenge for many kids. For that reason, we are beginning with a restorative restart emphasizing a focus on wellness and academics. During the spring and summer in-person sessions, I noticed a rejuvenation of the spirit in the students and staff. Overall, our goal is to keep nourishing that light in all of us. Speaking of light, I would like to illuminate three new members of the Hanna Ranch Team. Please join us in welcoming our new staff members: Ms. Kristina Smith-2nd, Ms. Harinder Singh-1st Grade, and Ms. Bettina (Tina) Wong-Kindergarten? All are exciting and enthusiastic and bring both diverse education and experience to the Hanna Team. Please join me in a welcome back zoom meeting Wednesday: 3-5 at 5:00: https://wccusd.zoom.us/j/9131054139 K-3 at 6:00: https://wccusd.zoom.us/j/9131054139 Slide Deck here Have a Great Weekend, Greg, on behalf of the Hanna Ranch staff

Because the State has moved the implementation date of any student COVID-19 vaccine requirements to “no sooner” than July 1, 2023, our District will align with the state’s date of July 1, 2023, as well. Students are not required to get the COVID-19 vaccine before that date.
