Welcome to Hanna Ranch Elementary School
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” Malcolm X

Dear Hanna Ranch Families,
We are excited to welcome new and returning students for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Seeing our students return to the classrooms fills us with happiness and anticipation. We have missed their energy, laughter, and enthusiasm. As we gear up for the new school year, we wanted to share some exciting news and important upcoming events.
We have added to our established state-of-the-art STEM Lab at Hanna Ranch. Equipped with creative technology and resources, this dedicated space will provide our students with endless opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a hands-on and engaging manner. Also, we are delighted to reunite with our fantastic STEM/Prep teacher, Ms. Eattock! Since our school is as large as it is, we are looking for volunteers interested in teaming up with us to help serve all students. If you are familiar with coding and 3-D printing, please let us know!
Furthermore, we would like to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming Back to School Night event. Every year this occasion provides an opportunity for us to meet and connect with our new kindergarten parents and returning parents. Mark your calendars for September 7th at 5:30, as we look forward to welcoming you and your family to our Back-to-School Night event. Our thriving PTA will be present to answer all questions about membership and volunteer opportunities.
For incoming kindergarten parents only: On the 1st day of school, we will have a brief kindergarten orientation and mini-photo session at 8:15 in the cafeteria (More information to come). We understand that while the transition to kindergarten is exciting, it can also elicit a number of questions, and we are here to support you every step of the way.Annual Forms:
If you have not completed the "annual forms" in Powerschool, please do so. Here is a short how-to video. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact Ms. Maria at 510-231-1441.
Warmest Regards,Greg Santiago
