Mrs. Pitts
Hello, my name is Meg Pitts and this is my 4th year as a Supervising Teacher at Vista High School. I am the English expert and teach the ERWC class which prepares juniors and seniors for the reading and writing demands of college classes. I love working at Vista and the connections I make with students and their families. I am committed to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and capable.
I live in Richmond with my husband and three children, who all attend WCCUSD schools, and our dog, Ziva. I also have two stepchildren who live in San Francisco and Fairfield. I am from New York originally and am the youngest of five children. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Scranton, got my teaching certification through the College of Saint Elizabeth, and am currently finishing my final two semesters of a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Virginia.
I look forward to another wonderful year of teaching and learning at Vista.
