  • Greetings Gauchos,
Tomorrow, Monday, is our scheduled COVID testing day. We will conduct COVID testing from 8am-4pm in the large gym.

Students will go to testing with their classes beginning in Block 1. All students who want to get tested must bring their medical ID card and the COVID testing that is signed by a parent. If a student is not on campus when their class went to testing, students can walk in alone to get tested.

Please remember that for your safety and the safety of others, wear your mask at all times. As we walked through classrooms last week, so many of our teachers and students were doing a remarkable job with their masks.

Thank you all for your support as we adjust to our new normal.
    #GOGAUCHOS!

  • 5/26/22 Safety Message from Dr. Hurst

This morning, students and staff at one of our schools, Grant Elementary in Richmond, had to briefly shelter-in-place because gunshots were fired in the area. Everyone is safe: no students, staff or families were harmed and the school was not targeted. We have been in contact with the Richmond Police Department about the incident.

  • Message from the Superintendent: Mask Update 05/24/22

As we reach the last few weeks of the school year, I’d like to share an update with you about our mask policy. We will continue to follow the guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and strongly recommend all students and staff wear a mask while at school or work. Wearing a mask is part of the district’s COVID-19 mitigation strategy, and masks should be made available in every WCCUSD classroom.
