The West Contra Costa Unified School District's mission is to prepare students for college and their future careers. Through our College and Career Pathways, students participate in a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers. Many of our Pathways include early college credit and all engage students in authentic projects and work based learning experiences.
WCCUSD offers 19 Pathway options for high school students to choose from. Each of these pathway programs focuses on one of seven different high-need high wage industry sectors identified by the State of California as areas of need.
