ITA is a small learning community that integrates core academic classes with the technology field (Web Design, Internet Networking). A team of teachers teaches students in the ITA including English, History, Math, and Science. This will allow the   academy team to keep track of the students’ progress and difficulties. The ITA teachers will meet biweekly to discuss student progress.

The teachers will also work together to stay in contact with the parents and give them information on their child. In the ITA program, each student will learn how to be an active participant in their own education. Information Technology Academy Includes:

    • Career Tech courses in computer applications & web design
    • Integrated standards-based academic courses
    • Integrated projects
    • Team building
    • College credit
    • Industrial based field trips
    • Preparing for the future (career and college)
    • Jobs placement: The Academy assists students in finding summer jobs and opportunities for careers
