ParentLink Message 9.13.21

Good evening, Lincoln families! This is Mrs. Parham with an update on behalf of our Lincoln team.

This update contains 2 pieces of information.

First, a reminder that if your child is experiencing symptoms of any kind, whether it be cough, headache, chills, sore throat, fever, or a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, please have them stay home. Unfortunately, we are required to send symptomatic students home due to covid safety protocols. Also, if your child is sent home for presenting symptoms, in order to come back to school they must be completely symptom-free, and you must produce a negative covid test result for them. Please help us keep your child, and all of our children safe.

Second, the health and safety of the Lincoln community is our top priority. To help everyone stay healthy and safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have updated our Covid-19 testing protocols. The District has changed Covid-19 testing companies to one that can provide more timely test results.
To accommodate the change, we need everyone to complete the ONE-TIME testing registration form. The link to the form can be found on our Class Dojo School Story page. Our testing day is still Tuesday, which means we will be testing tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility. Please continue to follow all the Covid-19 protocols and get the vaccine if you are eligible.

That's all I have for now. Please tell your child we love them, we care about them, and we take PRIDE in serving them every day at Lincoln. Take care.
