ParentLink Message in English (5/10/21)

Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with a message on behalf of the Lincoln team.

This message contains 4 pieces of information.

First, we hope all of our students and families had a restful holiday today and relaxing long weekend. We are back in school tomorrow, on zoom and in person, starting at 10 a.m. for Homeroom.

Second, for any students who are in our in-person Spring program, please remember that we have school every single day. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in person at Lincoln. Thursdays and Fridays are on zoom, at home. It's important that you attend school every single day. Remember that attendance and engagement count!

Third, parents and guardians, please not that if your child is in our in-person Spring program, and they need to leave school early for any reason, it's important that you go to our Front Office to sign them out early. Then, Ms. Iris will call your child's classroom and have them come down early. It's important that we follow this procedure for safety reasons.

Last, please note that ELPAC testing is happening for all English Learner students between now and May 31st. We are still completing make-up tests for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders, and representatives from the RAP Center are now starting to contact kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade English Learners to schedule testing over zoom. Please note that this is a mandatory statewide test that is required for all students designated as English Learners.

That's all I have for now. Please tell your children that we love them, we care about them, and we are so excited to be seeing our students in person and on zoom now. Take care.
