Hello Families!

My name is Mira Shin and I am excited to be teaching your child this year!  

I am a Kindergarten teacher at Riverside Elementary School who enjoys working with children and seeing how much they learn and grow. This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at Riverside and I love being a part of the community with you all.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at San Jose State University. I love working with young children and all the learning, exploring, and adventure that goes along with being a Kindergarten teacher. I am a passionate educator and a lifelong learner who never stops challenging myself. 

When I am not teaching or planning a lesson, I love traveling around the world, doing arts and crafts, and playing piano at home.
