We have launched the Whole Child, Whole Community campaign to recruit community members to substitute in several roles in the district. Parents and family members, retirees, members of our community, if you are interested and eligible to substitute in our district, please start the process and sign up today.
update on the schedule for today, Monday, January 17 for the district’s new COVID-19 testing sites. All three sites are open for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday: the District Central Office, the Ohlone Elementary School campus, and the Alvarado Adult School site. Each testing site is open from 9 am - 5 pm.
Calling in sick is understandable and an action we expect employees to take if they test positive for COVID-19 or are feeling any symptoms. However, employees coordinating with one another to call in sick together is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
I am writing to you today about the return to school and in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. I care very much about the health and safety of all of our students and staff, and I do want to wish you well and I hope that you are in good health. We can all do our part to ensure schools and the district offices are safe for us to open back up tomorrow.
There are two sites open today: the District Central Office, and the Ohlone Elementary School campus. Testing at these sites is for WCCUSD students and staff only. Please note that you must register and make an appointment to get tested at one of these sites.
