Good Evening Families,

Here are our reminders for this week:

1. We are excited to be able to have our Halloween Parades this year on Friday, October 29th! Students will be able to dress up in their costumes and we will have a parade at school. Please refrain from costumes with weapons or scary masks.

2. Parents, your students MUST be registered online to receive a COVID test.
The LSA covid testers will be available this Wednesday 10/20 to help anyone needing assistance registering a student between 8 AM - 9 AM.. Due to District mandates the office staff is no longer able to test your students. Anyone who submitted a paper application must register online. LSA Testers will be available on Wednesday 8 AM to 8:30 AM to help guide parents needing support to sign up online.

3. SSC is looking for new members here is the link for you to nominate yourself or someone you feel would make a good parent voice as your School Site Council Representative (Person to vote on how school site funds are spent and follows students’ progress monitoring for our schools’ needs).

The School Site Council meets this Thursday, September 16 at 3:00 PM on Zoom. We look forward to seeing you there!

Aquí están nuestros recordatorios para esta semana:

1. ¡Estamos contentos de poder tener nuestros desfiles de Halloween este año el viernes 29 de octubre! Los estudiantes podrán vestirse con sus disfraces y tendremos un desfile en la escuela. Disfraces con armas o máscaras de miedo no seran permitidas.

2. Padres, sus estudiantes DEBEN estar registrados en línea para recibir una prueba COVID.
Debido a los mandatos del Distrito, el personal de la oficina ya no puede evaluar a sus estudiantes. Si usted nos entrego una solicitud en papel debe registrarse en línea. Los tecnicos de LSA estarán disponibles este miércoles 20 de octubre para ayudar a cualquier persona que necesite ayuda a registrar a su alumno entre las 8 AM y las 9 8:30 A. M..

3. Aun ocupamos a padres representantes de el concilio escolar siga este enlace para autonominarse o nominar a otro padre para representar sus los intereses de sus hijos en el concilio escolar.

El Consejo del Consilio Escolar se reúne este jueves 16 de septiembre a las 3:00 PM en Zoom. Esperamos verlos allí!
