• Welcome to 9th Grade House!

    We are commited to supporting all 9th grade students at De Anza High School.

    De Anza's 9th Grade House is a cohorting system for 9th grade students. 9th graders are organized into smaller "Houses." Students in a House share common teachers and take "Core Classes" together.
     
    9th Grade Core Classes
    - Applied Research Methods (ARM)
    - English I
    - Algebra 1
    - P.E.
    - Science
     
    9th Grade Intervention
    Teams of teachers in each house work together to provide support for their students. Inventions include contacting parents/guardians, reaching out to students to provide extra support, connecting 9th grade students to various services within De Anza, and connecting them with Peer Mentors through Link Crew.
