Posted by Paul Mansingh on 4/24/2020

Greetings Class of 2020,

Yes, It is still your senior year, and we will make it through this pandemic and we will celebrate your achievements and we will acknowledge your successful transition into work, career, and/or higher education.

Congratulations to all seniors who have been accepted into UC/CSU  or any other higher education institution for the fall of 2020!  Your hard work has paid off!

If you plan to take the AP exam, you can get the latest updates through the College Board website.

As you are aware, we remain in a shelter in place and under strict social distancing guidelines set by the state and the county.  All senior activities are pending the decision of the state and county health officials.  The extent of our celebration will have to comply within set guidelines and be approved by the district office.

Graduation: We are still planning to celebrate the achievements of the class of 2020.  The traditional graduation ceremony will not occur, unless the state and county health officials approve mass gatherings. The district has approved a virtual graduation ceremony, what that looks like will take some planning.  I will be meeting with senior class officers and be looking into professional companies that can help put on a virtual graduation to remember.  If you have ideas on how we can make this happen, please send me an email.

Prom: We have moved prom to May 30th. We reserved the San Francisco City Club for this event.  Currently that venue is closed, but we remain hopeful.  If we do not have prom this spring, we will make some arrangements to have a prom at a later date, even our graduating seniors are welcomed back to prom, spring of 2021.   If we are not allowed to hold a prom, refunds will be returned after that date to the mailing address we have on record.

Cap and gowns can still be ordered through  We will coordinate a cap and gown distribution on May 14th from 11am - 1pm.  We will send out more information pertaining to how we follow social distancing guidelines while we distribute cap and gowns, drive through style.

18X 24 Class of 2020, graduation yard signs are available on our school website for purchase.  We have negotiated a price of $10.00 per sign, all orders must be placed by May 3rd.   Distribution of the grad yard signs will be the same day as cap and gown distribution.

Official transcripts can be ordered online through the school website, the form is live and a set of three transcripts will be available for only $5. 00

We hope that all of you are safe, healthy, nourished and sanitized, more information will be announced as news develops. Stay Safe, stay strong, and have a great evening
