Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year for Richmond High School! We have a number of new things at our school to be excited about. Check out what we have this year and feel free to navigate our website to get a sense of what we are about!
We have altered our schedule to now offer 7 periods of classes. This will help students take new elective courses, and recover credits!
We have expanded block schedule to 4 days of the week. Teachers can now go into more detail in their classes and assist students in their work.
Wednesdays and Fridays have a late start at 9:10am, but the school is open and serving breakfast! Students should come in, get food, and check out tutoring.
After School Program will continue to put on programs, and will be open each day until 6pm. This program is free to all Richmond High students.
We have added a 4th counselor to specifically work with our 9th grade students and focus on African American achievement.
We will still have our favorite programs availalble for students and families including Bay Area Peace Keepers, Health Center, Restorative Justice, and Oiler Crew.
We are exctied for this upcoming year. Our test scores have continued to improve, and we are now competitive with our fellow high schools including El Cerrito, De Anza, and Pinole Valley. We look forward to another strong year of improvement!
