Requirements / Qualifications

Please submit an EdJoin application, letter of interest, current resume, copy of credential Clear, Preliminary or Intern Multiple Subject Credential or equivalent, copy of English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent) copy of transcripts showing evidence of a BA degree, a copy of CBEST and CSET and 2-3 letters of recommendation.

The additional 10 non-student days will be distributed in the following manner 5 prior to the start of the school; August 7, 8, 9, 12, & 13. 5 days distributed in the following months September 27, 2019, October 14, 2019, January 17, 2020, March 9, 2020, May 15, 2020. Last student day is June 12, 2020.

Priority for filling vacancies will be given to: National Board Certified teachers and members holding a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Teachers with experience working in high poverty urban settings, trained in culturally responsive teaching strategies, and/or trained in PBIS and/or Restorative Justice Practices.

Staff members will receive a $10,000 dollar stipend to be paid in two installments, a $4000.00 installment on November 30, 2019, and a $6000.00 installment on June 30, 2020, if possible in a warrant separate from the monthly warrant.
