Ed Fund Accepting Scholarship Applications

Current high school seniors attending a public school within the boundaries of West Contra Costa Unified School District who have completed their FAFSA or California Dream Act Application and have a 2.0 GPA are eligible to apply for an Ed Fund college scholarship. This year the Ed Fund will be awarding scholarships ranging from $1,000-$5,000 to selected high school seniors. Apply by March 4 at www.edfundwest.org/our-scholarships.
 

Scholarship Program

The Ed Fund manages a scholarship program for high school seniors attending a public school within the boundaries of West Contra Costa Unified School District s who demonstrate financial need and have a strong desire to positively impact their community.  Since 2005, the Ed Fund has awarded over 1.6 million dollars in scholarships to nearly 522 students.  The Scholarship Program is supported by the African American Male Scholarship, B Andrew Gooden Memorial Scholarship, Bernice Bell Memorial Scholarship, Irene S. Scully Family Foundation, Norma and Arthur Schroeder Family Foundation, and Whittier Education Foundation.
