My child was exposed to COVID-19 at school. What’s next?
If your child was exposed to COVID-19 at school, the school will work with Contra Costa Health Services to determine the appropriate quarantine option. Students who are symptom-free and fully vaccinated or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days do not need to quarantine, but they should get tested 3-5 days after exposure. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated students will need to quarantine in some way depending on the situation and get tested.
