Costa Unified School District who have completed their FAFSA or California
Dream Act Application and have a 2.0 GPA are eligible to apply for an Ed Fund
college scholarship. This year the Ed Fund will be awarding scholarships
ranging from $1,000-$5,000 to selected high school seniors. Apply by March 4 at
The Ed Fund manages a scholarship program
for high school seniors attending a public school within the boundaries of West
Contra Costa Unified School District s who demonstrate financial need and have
a strong desire to positively impact their community. Since 2005, the Ed
Fund has awarded over 1.6 million dollars in scholarships to nearly 522
students. The Scholarship Program is supported by the African American
Male Scholarship, B Andrew Gooden Memorial Scholarship, Bernice Bell Memorial
Scholarship, Irene S. Scully Family Foundation, Norma and Arthur Schroeder
Family Foundation, and Whittier Education Foundation.
The Ed Fund, West Contra Costa’s Public
Education Fund, brings together committed partners from across our community to
create thriving schools and neighborhoods for our youth. Together, we strive to
align policies, programs, and people to bring about sustained change in our
