Additional marker boards and tackable wall surfaces are designed to foster flexible classroom seating arrangement and collaborative learning. There is wireless internet access throughout the school.
Outdoor learning spaces are also provided. The lunch shelter is equipped with a special detailed outdoor learning marker board for writing and exhibition. There are also a student vegetable garden, an outdoor classroom/butterfly/ hummingbird garden, and a rain bird garden.
The new school is also designed with the community in mind. Some of the community outreach features include exterior doors for community access to the library, community health center, and multi-purpose room; a community kitchen; and a community art garden.
