Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with an update on covid safety at Lincoln.
We have had several Lincoln community members (students and staff) test positive for covid-19 over the past few weeks. With the recent surge in cases across the country and our school district, we are asking ALL community members to do your part in keeping our school community safe.
Specifically, we hope ALL Lincoln students will: 1. Get tested for covid-19 EVERY Tuesday here at Lincoln. You only need to register your child ONE TIME using this link (which is also on our school wide Class Dojo page): https://gvp.app/com.gvp.site.welcome?G1ml7DriwehwPBdrwsB1SKPal2PgANPw7KM3KPNNzWc. If you need help registering your child for testing, come to Lincoln Wednesday - Friday, from 9:30 - 3 p.m. and a team member will help you! 2. Consider getting vaccinated! We will be holding a FREE vaccine clinic at Lincoln on Wednesday, February 2nd, from 12 - 3 p.m. for Lincoln students and their families. At our clinic, you may get the first or second Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson shot, or the booster shot. For additional vaccine sites, visit: https://www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/get-vaccinated 3. Wear a KN95, N95 or surgical mask every day. Students are no longer allowed to wear cloth masks, and they are provided with surgical masks at school. Please ensure your child is wearing the correct type of mask, covering their nose and mouth, and practice at home if needed.
We are in this together, and appreciate EVERYONE doing their part to keep our community safe!
