ParentLink Message (10/26) in English
Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with a message on behalf of the Lincoln team.
This message contains 3 pieces of information.
First, please note that this Friday, October 30th, we will be holding our Candy Drive Thru at Lincoln! Stop students and their families can come to Lincoln this Friday, from 1-2pm, in costume to pick up some sweet treats from our Lincoln teachers and staff. Please note that facemasks are required, and in order to stay safe, we are encouraging folks to drive or walk by school leaving at least 6 feet distance between each other. We'll see you this Friday, from 1-2pm for the FUN!
Second, you should know that this Friday is also the end of the first trimester of school! Next Monday, November 2nd, there is NO school for students. Teachers will be holding Parent/Teacher Conferences from Nov. 2nd-9th. Parents/guardians, you should be hearing from your child's teacher sometime this week to set up your Parent/Teacher conference. Conferences will be held on zoom, and will take about 15-20 minutes.
Last, please note that report cards are coming up! Report cards are narrative-based, which means rather than getting a grade (like A, B, C, D, F) your child's teacher will be writing a narrative about your child's goals and where they stand on their progress toward goals. Report cards will be mailed home on November 20th, so you should expect yours in the mail shortly after that.
That's all I have for now. Please tell your children that we love them, we care about them, we miss them, and we look forward to the day when we can all be together again soon. Take care.
