ParentLink Message (10/19) in English

Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with a message on behalf of the Lincoln team.

This message contains 4 pieces of information.

First, please note that tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20th, there will be a district AASAT meeting from 6-8pm. AASAT is our African American Site Advisory Team, and it is a chance for African American parents and guardians to advise the district on the direction the district is taking for our African American and Black students. If you would like to attend, please go to the district website, at for the zoom link.

Second, this Friday, October 23rd, we will be holding our first Lincoln Parent Coffee meeting on zoom. The Parent Coffee will be from 8:30-10am, and led by Ms. Agredano. We will post the zoom link on our Class Dojo School Story.

Third, next Friday, October 30th, will be the end of Trimester One. Can you believe we are a third of the way done with the school year already?! With the end of the first trimester, you can expect report cards and Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please note that Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on zoom the first week of November. Your child's teacher will be reaching out to you soon to schedule your conference.

Last, next Friday, October 30th, we will be holding a Lincoln Socially-distanced Harvest Festival! Instead of our usual Harvest Festival, this year we'll be passing out candy to our Lincoln students from 1-2pm on Friday, October 30th, in front of our school. Please stop by from 1-2pm next Friday in your Harvest Festival costume and come get your candy!

That's all I have for now. Please tell your children we love them, we miss them very much, we care for them, and we can't wait for the day when we can all be together again soon. Take care.
