Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with an important update on behalf of our Lincoln team.
This message contains 3 pieces of information.
First, we hope all of our Lincoln students and their families had a restful and fun weeklong break last week. We were so excited to welcome our students back to school today! A reminder that we have covid testing at Lincoln tomorrow, and we are thrilled to share that we have now registered and are testing 99% of our Lincoln students every single week. In fact, we only have two students in our entire school who still need to register. We are SO excited that we have almost reached our goal of registering and testing 100% of our student body, and in fact, we will be having a giant pizza party later this week to celebrate all of the classes who were able to register their entire class. Great job, Lions!
Second, we know that there has been a lot of discussion in California lately about lifting the mask mandate. We want to let our families know that our district does not have plans to lift the mask mandate anytime soon. At this time, students and staff are still required to wear masks every day, and students and staff are provided with KN95 and/or surgical masks every day.
Third, on Wednesday, March 23rd, we will be having a FREE dentist come to Lincoln to see any Lincoln students who are interested. Students will receive a free dental cleaning, as well as advice for any necessary follow-up procedures. If you are interested in your child being seen by this FREE dentist, please complete the Big Smiles program application that your child was given by his or her teacher.
That's all I have for now. I hope all of our Lincoln students and families have a wonderful and safe evening. Take care.
