Greetings West Contra Costa Unified Community. 

Earlier this month, five of our schools were vandalized over a two-week period: Bayview, Greenwood, Highland, Lincoln and Nystrom. It was heartbreaking to witness all the damages. Especially Lincoln Elementary, the hardest hit of our schools. 

We received an outpouring of support from the community, with many people asking us what they can do to support Lincoln. The West Contra Costa Public Education Fund has created a Go Fund Me page to support the Lincoln community.

Your donations will help Lincoln teachers and staff, who were so negatively impacted, replenish the supplies that were destroyed. All donations will go directly to Lincoln teachers to purchase supplies and materials before the school year begins on August 16.

Thanks to the Lincoln teachers, staff and volunteers from Chevron who dedicated their free time to clean up some of the damage. 

I would also like to thank the EdFund for providing our community with an opportunity to help, and thank you in advance for supporting our teachers.
