Interested in helping as a volunteer?
Hello WCCUSD community! We know that getting a vaccine greatly reduces the risk of COVID-19. In our district, all students ages 12 and older are required to be vaccinated by July 1, 2022. In WCCUSD, 87 percent of students in this age group are vaccinated. Now, we are looking for the community’s assistance in helping us reach the remaining 1,500 students who have not updated the district on their vaccination status.

CAASPP Spring Assessments
Every year, California students take several statewide tests. When combined with other measures such as grades, class work, and teacher observations, these tests give families and teachers a more complete picture of their child’s learning. You can use the results to identify where your child is doing well and where they might need more support.

School in Session April 1 and May 27
School is in session on both April 1, 2022 and May 27, 2022. On the district calendar, these dates are listed as “reserve days” and that there will be no school. These “reserve days” were used When the omicron surge hit our school communities hard in January, and so many of our students and staff were out sick, we opted to use those flexible “reserve days” at that time, on January 7 and January 10.
