  • Safety Announcement

Posted by Mirel Rivera on 1/15/2020 6:00:00 PM

Good evening Titan families. This is assistant principal Mirel Rivera calling with a safety update. Today, we held a successful safety drill. However, at the beginning of lunch a threat was found written on the stall of one of the girls’ restrooms.

Our school resource officer was immediately informed and has begun looking into it.

While we do not believe this threat to be credible, I am asking you to have a serious conversation with your children about joking about violence, especially at school. We live in an age when all threats are taken seriously and investigated.

These threats, jokes or not, take up valuable time and resources and cause unnecessary panic.

This threat, like the one found earlier this week, will be investigated thoroughly and the responsible person will face appropriate discipline.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Have a good night.
