My name is Aniyah Bardell, and I am beyond honored to join the team here at the Vista Virtual Academy. I am a fifth year teacher in West Contra Costa Unified, and this will be my first year here as the High School Resource Specialist. I am excited to bring in the new school year.

I am from the beautiful Bay Area! I graduated from Vallejo High School and went on to receive my bachelors from Talladega College in Talladega Alabama. While there, I played collegiate basketball, and joined the illustrious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, inc (ΣΓΡ). After getting my degree in Social Work, I headed back to The Bay to get my Masters from CSU East Bay in Special Education. 

As I log another year into the books, I am eager to create new memories and help in the shaping of our future doctors, lawyers, teachers, and entrepreneurs…OUR STUDENTS! I am looking forward to new experiences with you all!
