Roadmap 2022: Learning Every Day!

  • In the West Contra Costa Unified School District, we are a community of learners. From the office managers serving as the gatekeepers to our schools; to the teachers leading the classrooms; to the support staff holding up the communities behind the scenes; to the principals setting the vision; to the students, the future leaders of the world, we are all learners. WCCUSD students have made sizeable gains over the past few years with our graduation rates and advanced placement test participation at an all-time high. Even more students are excelling in our college and career pathways and in becoming reclassified, despite the societal barriers they face.

    About the Roadmap 2022

To continue and build on the momentum created and to ensure that more WCCUSD students, especially the historically underserved students, are not just graduating but succeeding in college and beyond, we developed Roadmap 2022 that lays the foundation for continuing on our student success.

To reach our goals and to assist every WCCUSD student in achieving their dreams requires us to think differently in the way we design and run our classrooms, schools, and district.
