Resource Specialist

Hello! It is so nice to meet you and I am happy to have your child in our Virtual Classroom at the start of this school year. I couldn’t wait until we can all go back to normal so that I can personally welcome each and every student in school. This year we will have fun navigating the new normal of distance learning. I am looking forward to our new adventure. Though there may be challenges, I am confident that we can learn a lot from those challenges. I believe that we are all a work in progress, striving to get better as time goes by.

Here are a few things I'd like you to know:

- It is normal to feel a mixture of emotions in the beginning. Students feel excited, nervous, worried, and anxious. Remind your child that we are all in this together and that we will all support each other.

- If you ever feel like you need something from me, don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am here for you and your child.

- We will face challenges, successes, frustrations, and joys together. I will do my best to encourage my students to reach for their dreams and inspire them to be the best they can be.

- I will cheer for them and I proudly watch them discover, develop, and nurture their interests and passions.

Thank you for supporting your child's teachers. I hope that someday soon, we will be able to spend many days in person, face-to-face in our classroom, but I am prepared to support you and your child in every way possible on the days that we are learning together from home.
