DLCAP Committee
DLCAPS
The District Local Control Accountability Parent-Students (DLCAPS) Committee is a parent and community advisory group convened to advise the WCCUSD Board of Education on the District’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). Members serve two-year terms and meet throughout the school year to offer feedback and recommendations that reflect the needs and priorities of students and families—especially those from historically underserved groups, including English learners, foster youth, homeless students, and low-income families.
The DLCAPS Committee comprises parents or legal guardians of current district students, as well as students. The committee operates in collaboration with the Superintendent (or designee), who provides logistical and administrative support. Meetings are open to the public and serve as an important space for data analysis, discussion, and shared decision-making. Agendas, minutes, and additional documents—such as the DLCAPS Member Roster and Bylaws—are posted publicly.
