Executive Directors
At West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD), Executive Directors serve as senior leaders overseeing key departments and districtwide initiatives. They provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and leadership in areas such as Educational Services, Human Resources, Business Services, Student Services, Technology, and more. Executive Directors play a critical role in ensuring that schools and central office departments are aligned with the district’s mission, goals, and strategic plan.
These leaders work collaboratively with school site administrators, teachers, support staff, families, and community partners to implement effective programs, drive continuous improvement, and promote equity and academic achievement for all students. They are responsible for managing budgets, evaluating program effectiveness, guiding policy implementation, and supporting compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Executive Directors report to the Superintendent or Associate Superintendents and contribute to major district decision-making processes. Their work ensures that WCCUSD remains responsive to the needs of its diverse student population while maintaining high standards of service and accountability. Through their leadership, they help build capacity across the system and support a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation.
