The Department of Teaching, Learning, and Leading works collaboratively across all departments and with school sites to support the growth and development of West Contra Costa Schools District's service to youth, increasing access to culturally responsive standards-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The Department provides professional development, coaching, and instructional resources for Administrator and Teachers to ensure graduates have the linguistic, academic, social skills and competencies required for college, career, and civic participation in a global, diverse, and multilingual world.
