Kennedy High Welding
Welding at Kennedy High School
The Kennedy Welding program is part of the the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Pathway in WCCUSD. Students may take Welding I, Welding II, and Welding III (course summaries HERE) over the course of three years, and gain experience in a variety of skills including metalworking, safety, arc welding, and CNC technology. The welding shop has been completely rebuilt in recent years, largely due to generous funding from Chevron, and we continue to add new tools and machines to build out the shop's capabilities and increase opportunities for students.
