Charter School Sites

Key decisions concerning school governance such as growth, hiring decisions, approaches to teaching and learning and student discipline are outlined and guided at school board meetings. Board meetings for WCCUSD are public and open, and all schools—including charter schools—agree that board meetings are an important way for parents and families to have a voice in education, and keep track of significant decisions. There are a range of methods to keep families apprised, but one good place to begin exploring board meetings is on charter or district web sites. Typically, agendas are posted, and meeting minutes are available.
