Emergency Information Emergency Cards are perhaps the most important information that you can provide the school. State law requires that parents provide information so that someone may be reached in case of emergency. Please be sure to accurately give your home and work telephone numbers, an alternate contact, and keep us informed of any changes. Illness at School If a student becomes too ill to remain in class, we will reach you by phone and recommend that you come to school and pickup your child. When your child is ill, do not send her/him to school. A student that contracts a contagious disease or condition, such as pink eye, chicken pox, ringworm or impetigo, or head lice will be sent home from school and must remain home until the condition is corrected. Absences and Tardies If your child will be absent or tardy, please call the school office (799-3930).

If you are calling before or after school hours you may leave a detailed message on the answering machine. Please state your child¹s name, grade and room number as well as the length and reason for the absence. Please make every effort to see to it that your child attends regularly and on time. Late arrivals can disrupt the entire class and interrupt teaching and learning. Families with three or more unexcused absences or tardies will be referred to the Student Welfare and Attendance Department.
