Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne in 2011, Master of Arts in Education and teaching credential for special education (mild/moderate) from Claremont Graduate University in 2013, and is currently a doctoral student at the University of New England. She also holds her preliminary administrative credential.
Angela is a strong advocate for equipping students with the best possible academic support systems, teaching compassion, social-emotional learning support, and developing good habits to be able to become their best versions of themselves while also being considerate of others. Angela’s commitment as a lifelong learner continues to provide opportunities to prepare her to bring solutions and innovation to an ever-changing world of education and our world of virtual education is no exception. It has been enlightening to see and learn new ways to improve accessibility opportunities to curriculum, increase inclusivity and equity, give immediate feedback, and see students improve in much needed technical skills.
In her free time, Angela enjoys fitness as a way of self-care, cooking, watching Netflix, researching, and spending time with family.
